National Paddy Day is an annual festival in Nepal which marks the beginning of the rice planting season. It is celebrated on the 15th of Ashadh every year. The festival is also named Ropain Diwas, Dhan Diwas, and Ashadh 15.
Nepal is an agricultural country, the government is celebrating Asar 15 as Paddy Day. We are happily celebrating Paddy Day on 15th of Asar today. Asar 15 or National Paddy Day holds great significance for the farmers of Nepal as it marks the beginning of paddy plantation shortly after the arrival of monsoon in the country. On this day, people plant rice saplings in the fields while singing traditional folk songs and splashing muddy water at each other. Also, the day is incomplete without eating dahi chiura (curd and beaten rice), which is why it is also known as Dahi Chiura Khane Din.

Farmers have not received fertilizer seeds at the time of cultivation. The lack of irrigation is the same everywhere. Provide experts to the farmers from the time of distribution of fertilizer seeds to the time of cultivation. By providing employment to the youth in the agriculture of the country and encouraging them to engage in agriculture, our products can be exported not only to Nepal but also to other countries.
