Rice planting is a very significant part of our religious life as it is prime crop of the country. Rice was much more important for Nepalese than what it is for us in the present day. According to census, Nepalis have rice as their main food and all they consume most of the rice. It was one of the best export product in the world. Rice cultivation used to be a major industry in the country.
